Who knew Bethany Consentino could channel Stevie Nicks so well? Actually, it makes sense—as Pitchfork writes, Consentino and her band, Best Coast, were influenced by Fleetwood Mac when recording upcoming album, The Only Place, from which a number of performances of songs have already been in circulation.
Fittingly, Best Coast headed over to the Radcliffe Maconie show on BBC’s Radio 6, and while there, she recorded an acoustic cover of Fleetwood Mac’s lovely, lovelorn “Storms.” The cover will be available as a 7″ vinyl bundled with The Only Place distributed at independent record stores. The album will be out May 15.
