Air Tahiti Nui wishes to advise its customers of ongoing disruption to its flights network-wide as a result of industrial action commenced this earlier week by the airline’s cabin crew.
It is unclear which flights will be impacted by the dispute, with details unlikely to be known until close to departure time. As a consequence the airline has introduced a range of measures to mitigate disruption.
The latest information is as follows:
Flight Information from/to Auckland:
Flight TN102 from Auckland to Tahiti (Papeete) is currently scheduled to depart on Sunday, 12 August, at 2.15PM, arriving in Tahiti at 9.15PM on Saturday, 11 August.
Customers wishing to cancel or postpone plans to travel on this flight, or any other Air Tahiti Nui flight departing over the next three days within the airline’s network, may do so without penalty.
Rebooking is permitted on any replacement Air Tahiti Nui flight on the same sector, for travel within the next four months.
Replacement bookings will not incur any change fees or reissue fees, subject to availability of seats in the original cabin booked (Economy, Business, First). Travel agent fees may apply.
Travel agents can contact their local Air Tahiti Nui call centre for a ticket waiver.
Any other changes to schedules as a result of this industrial action will be posted as soon as possible on the airline’s website, www.airtahitinui.com.au.
